Problem:
Theft and UV deterrent. Merchandise theft by glass breakage was a main concern while reducing fade on store merchandise.
Solution: Applied Armorcoat 8 mil Clear Mylar Safety/Security window film to the entire storefront. Then we attached the window film to the frame system with Dow Corning 995 Structural Silicone Caulk. The film and caulk system holds glass together in the frame in the event of impact from flying debris or burglary.
