Project Details:
Date: 16 October 2011
Film Type: Solar Window Film
Client: Pensacola State College
Project: Visual Arts Bldg
Problem:
Reduce solar heat gain, glare, and fading on displayed art with minimal reflectivity to the glass while maximizing light coming into the building. Meets LEED certification and gain points per LEED criteria for products used.
Solution: Applied Huper Optik Ceramic 40 window film. This Ceramic Infra-red reducing window film is non-reflective, blocks 99% of the UV rays, and allows maximum light to enter through the glass. The window film application reduced the BTU's coming through the glass by more than 50%.
